“STAR BLANKET” is an interactive blanket for children that comes to life and starts to shine at night with mobile app.

This is an interaction between child, blanket, parents and mobile app which includes 10 messages in form of poem for 10 different constellation names (big bear, small bear, rabbit, lizard, wolf, snake, swan, big dog,lion, fox) and their graphic representations.

Right before the sleeping, in mobile app child or a parent selects one of the 10 constellations and by the help of the mobile app lights the stars in blanket.

When child sees the light in blanket, he opens the stars on the blanket. Child can see a visual constellation projections in mobile app as well as in blanket. Blanket turns off at the same time child falls asleep by light gradually dimming within 30 minutes. Thereby it helps overcome the fear of darkness. Darkness is a background on which both children and adults project their monsters of fantasy.

Project shows a convenient, comfortable environment for students to spend their breaks between lectures. Recreation area is united with a corridor, so it is spacious and broad.
The interior have bright tonality using white and grey color combination with a natural ash trees that are durable and good quality.

By using black umbrellas and smashed pieces of tiles is made art installation of colorfull rain.
As people in the shop are passing by, the installation is constantly moving by wind that they make. So from outside the window display is looking vibrant.

Mirror is the symbol of the moon. Just as we have never senn the other side of the moon, we have never seen the other side of the mirror.

With a mirror placed in a horizontal position is created an optical illusion – with hemisphere made from screwnuts and the same image in the mirror is created an illusion of one ball.

Installation is dedicated to abandoned dairy, in a small town named Jaunpiebalga that used to be one the main production units.
In a sterile white room that symbolizes dairy as it used to be is bathtub with a pitch – symbol of environmental degradation.
